This EP is just a taste of the inspiration I experienced while visiting Maui (Hawaii) for my first time ever. Most of the hooks, basslines, chords where made during walks on the beach on my iPad. The files where then transferred to my digital audio workstation when I returned home to the mainland and then fleshed out. It was the first time that I became part of the artistic observation as it was happening. A very beautiful experience. My wish is that you listen to this music you can feel the same magic I felt. Always listen to you heart and follow that spirit. Never give up. You have so many reasons to experience this gift we call life. Mahalo.. :)

Spaceship Android takes a trip to the beach. "Somewhere Along the Coast" is fun outrun in the sun with a disco beat that drifts in and out. "The Signal" begins with a lo-fi sound then cuts to normal with a spacey, astral sound. "Cruise" is another fun track that switches bakc and forth between funk and outrun with some nice guitar work. "Saw Her Yesterday" is my favorite, though, a slice of teen dreams with a bittersweet edge. Unrequited love? A past romance? The music's tone only tells so much. kmxexii
